Good luck with that. There was no truck body used on the XX4 box art. That was a Losi body sold in a bag for the XX4. It wasn't a kit body at any point.

Rick,

Does he need the pictures of the bodies so he can check to see what molds (or possibily bodies) he has in his shop that may have been left over from past jobs?

regards,
highwayracer

vintagelosi.com has pictures of most of the boxes from the early series.
Wouldn't it be easier for him to give you a list of part#'s of the molds he has as they all generally have the # on them?
did he do any other manufacturers oem work?

Just as Doug said, there is no box art photo of the truck body. Your best bet would be to show him a painted pic. I believe JK uses that body regularly on his XX4 and he would be the best source.

One thing I don't really understand. Most (but not all) of the Losi bodies had the part number molded in the back of the mold itself. They should all be identifable by that number.

One more thing, some of the bodies are very very close to one another with small differences that can be missed by the untrained eye. I would be concerned that relying on just the box art (or flash card) would not be a very efficient means of identifying what is what. With part numbers you really can't go wrong.

I am hoping the Traxxas Slash body is close in dimesions....

BTW...the original Losi body fits most all the current 4wd's on the market. I've had that body in the picture on 2 different cars...X Factory X5 and my XX4. I have set it on top my ZX5, and it will work there also...
