What RC10 chassis is this?
I just got this chassis off e-bay to finish my RC10 graphite box art, however who makes it? Its not a original AE, but I have no clue what company it is. It has the holes drilled for the stealth so I don't think its a Q10 chassis. Attached are some pics with what appear to be a lot of factory drilled holes (even for the old school wiper AE speed controller). Any ideas? Thanks again guys!

Re: What RC10 chassis is this?
Since there is no glossiness to the finish and the corners aren't sharp, I don't think it is a AE/Horizon TQ10 chassis. It might be a Duratrax (or other aftermarket) graphite chassis.
BTW, the wing and the decal would be sooooo much better it is had a "talk" between the "10" and the ".com"

Re: What RC10 chassis is this?
This looks to be an aftermarket chassis. the tq-10 chassis was narrower in the area of the servo saver. Like the AE chassis and aluminum nose plate, there was a shoulder/step-off up just before the wider kick-up. The pictured chassis is the same width on the kickup as the flat.

My guess is Composite Craft, but I guess there were a lot of manufacturers that made graphite chassis for the 10.

I love that chassis. Nice find. That's a Composite Craft chassis for sure (99.99%). Houge made one similar but the rear portion was shaped for trailing arms.

I would also say it's a CC chassis that has been drilled for a Stealth, nice find!

Doubt it will sell for what you think based on the reaction here. Why not try and sell it on the BST section here?Konich wrote:So for 30 bucks it was a good deal eh?![]()

Does that mean the request for RC10Talk.com decals is still in the works?mrlexan wrote:Since there is no glossiness to the finish and the corners aren't sharp, I don't think it is a AE/Horizon TQ10 chassis. It might be a Duratrax (or other aftermarket) graphite chassis.

Not sure if you mean the ones that CafePress have but that's not the same as the original RC10Talk.com decals that were printed up before I was a member here. Before the Vintage Nationals someone told me that they would look into getting more out there after they returned from that weekend. Just a gentle nudge to remind that moderator.

Re: What RC10 chassis is this?
it's a composite craft. they (that style) didn't come drilled for the stealth, so someone obviously did that. it looks like it was a mid motor setup at one time, too.
