What is the going rate for a RC10 MIP 4wd kit these days? Just curious....i might have one hiding in my closet. Its installed on the RC10, but was only ran a couple times and I have the box and a new belt as well. Just a curiosity question.
do you have any more rc10's your planning on selling? if so, don't think about going about it like you did here. if i see another post like this..... from anyone..... it's gone. we have a b/s/t, and that's what it's for.
I read here on the list that the mip 4wd kits are not rare. I beg to differ seeing as though I have only seen a handfull of them. So my question is to find put how many here have them. So if you have one or know of one then sound off. I will start...

I have to agree that stuff IS out there. I have stumbled across some rare stuff which i never thought i would see in some really funky old hobby shops. That is the key- the funkier, the better
you know, I've been thinking about this kit, and what you need to convert an rc10 in this day and age, with all of the newer and more common buggys/touring cars out there.
seems you can get some simple stuff made and make it all happen for alot...

yeah, i absolutely agree that picking up a whole buggy is more cost effective. Just thinking out loud about the desire for a 4wd kit, with the possibility of MIP bringing something back. Just thinking that you could effectively duplicate the effort...
Hi Everyone. I am picking up this project again after 7 years (one could argue it's been in progress for 17 years but that's another story!). This build has been through a lot of changes over the years but I think I am now close to a solid final (?)...

jwscab thanks for the note...I have tried all the connection combos and no luck. Frustrated because I dont have any other equipment with G style old connectors.... so it's hard to isolate each component. I'll try some adapters just to test and see...
Hello, I just stumbled across this forum. What a great place for all these vintage racers. I am just finishing off a couple of projects that I have been thinking about for a long time. Here is my 4wd RC10. Pretty basic build. I took a new built RC10...

It was an ebay auction from awhile back and I'm not sure who it was. I have been sourcing parts for the last year in order to finish or start builds and things are kind of a mess right now. If I run across another set I will let you know.
can anybody help me find out what size the belt is and if it possible to find replacement cvds or another car that i can get them from. they are 2.97 long from cup to end. thanks

Like Scr8p mentioned, it is not necessary to post the same question in 4 or 5 different topics. Please post only in one topic and be patient. Someone, if they know the answer, will get back to you. Any questions, please let me know. Thank you sir.
Have a few little things to replace and wrap up (like powdercoating the engine mount). I've had the powdercoated chassis sitting around for ages and finally decided to put it to good use. Haven't decided on the wheels yet. Don't like the plastic MIP...

WOW!! I'm impressed. The MIP 4wd conversions where hard to get new!! I guess you guys never got rid of anything, huh?
I started an MIP 4WD project, using a Sassy Chassis, and mix of MIP and Andy's parts. The front Andy's arms match the AE factory short arms. The MIP SP-32 was fairly used, but cleanup well. My main issue is the front outdrives appear to be short,...

So was the hole in the pulley shaft a production oversight, or would the ~1mm outward spacing have caused additional strain or belt misalignment issues?
