Bear Hawk Body onto RC10

Post by mikedealer »

so i got this body off the ebay, figuring i would fit it to a rc10, and just got it today and it looks like its gonna be a sweet tight fit. fits nicely actually. going to have to use a 10t shock tower or dual sport tower or something to make the shock fits.. but its a nice sleek look when its mounted.

won it here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=320278739678

here is one painted up at tamiyaclub
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=72894&sid=19357

going to paint it up same way basically, a flat black with silver bars and maybe some subtle clearcoat glossy stripes

anyone have any tips or howto's on how to paint these types of bodies properly and what type of paint is best?

Mike, i recommend you to use Tamiya Acrylic Paint for this Bear Hawk. They are of a better consistuency and easier to make. If you make any mistake, just wash it off with tap water before it cure. Hope these help. David
