Post by Group B »

Anyone know how low of a number of turns a motor can be used in the Novak 410-MXC?

The instructions state "any number of turns". Of course this was from 1990... The MXc was rated at 500amps. It was also a popular choice for seven cell mod trucks. Probably good down to a twelve turn or so using 1400 batteries.

Use common sense and it should be fine, just do not bridge the forward and brake fets with the heat sinks...

The manual is available for download from Novak.
