Novak 410-M5 pop fuse or not?

Post by Jedi Master »

Hey guys, I have a bunch of Novak ESC's, some new some not. I have a new one that came with its box and accessories, but the actual ESC is different to the picture on the box. The box shows it with the pop fuse, but the actual unit doesn't have it. Did the seller stiff me with a non original box, or was this simply an updated issue?

Appreciate the help!

a "fused" m5 would have been the upgraded one. could've been a mix up from the factory somehow, too.

early m5's came with the pop fuse. later they removed them. i have no idea why? i had an m5 w/ pop fuse when they were making the transition to the non-pop fuse m5's, and they sent me one for a replacement.

You're right. They got rid of the fuse with their reverse polarity protection update.
