Gearing for a stealth w/novak 13t brushless

Anyone have a idea where i should start with gearing a stealth with a novak brushless system :D

What motor were you running before? If it was stock I'd start by just gearing up a hair. It will be a lot faster and can pull a higher gear for sure, but you may like the "feel" of it better with lower gearing.

Well the car has been on the shelf for some time now,I cant remember what motor or motors it had in it or gearing for those. Just need a starting point of some sort... :shock:

I'll look at what I have on mine when I get home. I don't race so I just usually eyball it and then see how it runs. I wanna say 21/81, but I also have the older Stealth tranny which may have a different final drive than yours.

I know it is a original stealth,white case and it does have an 81 spur, but i have buckets off pinions and boxes of spur gears so i can get it close with some ideas,Thanks ,let me know what yours has on it ..

Mine is 21/81. That may be lower than you want for a 13t brushless. I'd start with a 23 and see how it runs. If you race it would depend greatly on the track. How long the straights, number of corners, etc... If you bash, just start there and see how you like it. :D
