The Losi looks to be based on a LXT, at least the arms appear to be, with some mods. A graphite chassis with an upper deck of some type it appears (LXT normally has molded chassis). The main chassis plate may be a narrowed JR-XT/JRx-Pro item, with the large servo saver cutout. So maybe JR-XT with LXT arms. Has the XX retofit tranny (or its a later LXT), with custom lightened motor plate, non Losi gear cover, single pad slipper (that could hold a Hydra Drive). LXT rims.

Tamiya Blackfoot/Monster Beetle-type wheels and trailing arm. Are those friction shocks or oil-filled? Might be from a QD kit? The front end looks like it's right for the Blackfoot series, but never seen one quite like that (too much plastic and yellow steering knuckle??
There's one Grasshopper/Frog front wheel with an aftermarket tire on it too. :D

Did the CC chassis come with a new main plate, or just the top? (did it also have the servo saver hole?)

you could buy them separately, or in a kit. and yes, they had the hole for the servo saver.

I'm pretty sure the yellow front steering knuckle on the blackfoot suspension is a CRP hop-up part.

civilguy: The Yellow Shocks have Oil in them.

scr8p: Thats IS a shame about that plate.   Maybe I'll get L U C K Y, and find someone who has one with the REAR cut off.  Eh, I'll probably make a piece to put where "missing" piece is supposed to be.

So, its a LXT, like Bongo said, with a BUTCHERED CC Chassis???

And the Tamiya Parts are Blackfoot??

There is also a Pair of "Tamiya Racing Balloon Tire"s (also has 56-106-56-04 on sidewall), but less than 50% Tread left on one of them. Also, a Tranny with Black Plastic "Body", and Aluminum Plates for each side. I thought I recognized it as Tamiya too, correct?

How bout the Wheels (Rears) in the AE pic? What Size Tire do they take? They are slightly, but visibly, larger than the Rears here (what size are these also?) : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300282095843&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=020 . The Tires only have RP-926 on the Sidewall, and are in pretty good shape.

Bryce- the tranny sounds like a Frog/Blackfoot/Monster Beetle. I only asked if the shocks had oil because that yellow knuckle confused me (and I thought maybe a QuickDrive truck with friction shocks and yellow knuckles)-- now that Anthony mentioned the CRP hop-up some bells are ringing. ;)
I've never seen those tires, but I wasn't a truck guy in the 80s.

The rear AE rims look to be CRP-- are they slightly transparent nylon? One piece wheels? http://www.rcchopshop.com/crp/4113.html maybe.

Yes, after the mention of a Blackfoot, a quick "tamiya blackfoot" search on eBay, brought up a piece of al. I thought I recognized. I checked the stuff, and sure enough, I have a Blakfoot Skid Plate in there. And the Tranny in another auction sure looks like what I have here. Still no tellin what else I may find, or at least find OUT what is.

Exactly. Edit: Well, actually I couldntreally see the Wheels in the link, but the "slightly transparent nylon" discribes them pretty good.
