Is this, or is it not, an rc10T body?
As the title says: is it or is it not an rc10T body?
I found it in my LHS which I don't believe ever sold anything asso. But it looks real close to my unexperienced eye.
It has a blueish overspray film and no mention of brand or model anywhere.
My second bet is a kyosho pro-xt (I didn't check the looks yet but I know kyosho had this blueish film )

Re: Is this, or is it not, an rc10T body?
It certainly looks like an Associated Team Truck body... The dimples in the hood lead me to believe it's not though. I don't know if maybe it's an HPI body
Re: Is this, or is it not, an rc10T body?
Like mentioned above it surly looks like the team associated 6122 race truck body
But the front dimples are not on the 6122 body It would also say up front on the bottom if it was from associated

Yes it is a 10T body. I have one painted. I think it came with some of the later team trucks during the T2 production era.

Re: Is this, or is it not, an rc10T body?
This is an original 6122 body on a final version all-black plastics (T2 era) Team Truck. It doesn't have the dimples for the front body mount as pictured on Erik's new body, which are further out than the stock Associated mounting position. It still does look just like a Team Truck body...

yep, sorry about posting it in 2 sections of the forum, but I used remote images so it shouldn't be too much taxing.templeofspeed wrote:Double post...

the marks for the body posts are really there: they're not reflections
(I assume you're referring to the little dots best visible in the first pic: very much upfront and outward?)
could it be the body for an rc10 GT, or are does the exact same as the ep version?

No, cause there are no humps for the rear shocks. On the GT they are located almost at the tailgate.Mr. ED wrote:could it be the body for an rc10 GT

There's no doubt the Kyosho Pro-XT body is not the same as the "associated" body.
