Agreed. Very interesting site.

Excellent observation regarding the criticism that I always heard about it not being much of an Ultima.

ya know though, gold kyosho shocks, graphite chassis (although aftermarket), ultima transmission, ultima arms and bulkheads... that pretty much "makes" the car...

people have been saying that for years and criticizing that car.. its a ultima in my opinion.

totally agreed ........ :)

when comparing with Masami's 89' & 91' RC10...........Joel Johnson's car was a "true" Ultima......... 8)

yes.......I think the later RC10 B2 had the shadow of Masami's 89' car............while the B4 having the shadow of the Masami's 91' car...........

Believe so, think I've seen him on the podium at some Nitro on road races on RedRC. 1/8 maybe???
Think he is also President of Kyosho America.

Edit: Did a quick search, I guess winning a ROAR title a couple of years ago counts as a podium.
But the story indentifies him as a lowly Vice President. :o
Another listed him as Head of K USA, also in '07.
Stories about Team Manager appointments and such usually thank him personally.
Whatever, he seems to be getting along fairly well!
