Re: My WCM 1/4 scale

Well the stickers are gone from the tyres now, its quite under powered but handles great, cant believe how easy it is to drive, Ive fitted a tuned pipe and will go for another run. Id love an old school fibreglass nascar body but looking quite hard to find. I have found a local supplier who sells Ho...

My WCM 1/4 scale

I recently bought this, from my research I think its a 90s era WCM car, it looks like its never been run, Im looking for a body or advice on a period correct style. I think its supposed to have a nascar body but I may just make my own paved modified style body to run untill I can find the correct on...

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

True but if that happens Ill belt it out with a hammer and pin punch.I dont think Ill have much luck finding a brace as these alum ones are 4 degree unless I make one or longate a 3 degree one which I think I will try before running it.

I agree,Ill just remove some of the chassis.Looking forward to seeing how the 4 degree toe in will work on the track. Will report back after some track time.

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

They fit! Its a good fix for a chassis with broken bumper holes too as the hinge pin on the XXX alum block is fixed in place with grub screws. Heres a pic of one I mocked on a broken chassis, not sure if its best to remove some of the chassis like in the pic or cut away both cross braces on the block...

Supposed to be for the XXX.They were on sale for $6.99 each so cheap enough.

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

Wish I would have saw those alloy ones before buying 6 plastic ones,I didnt even think of searching for street weapon ones. I was running the 2 degree ones but ran 0 degree last night as was all I had left. There is some alloy braces with the 3 degree conversion a2208 I bought so I will definetly be ...

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

That Trinity one would be nice. I just bought a2208 3 degree rear block that looks similar but in plastic from OLDRC.I was wondering how it would fit as it says its for the XX4,looks like Ill need to do some mods but with the front section removed I cant see it being any stronger.I really need to fi...

Re: TLR 22/22T

I know this thread is a bit old but I just bought a lightly used 22T and looking for advise. It seems to be set up from the manual and Im really unhappy with the way it drives,it has little steering but then when the back comes out a little it becomes uncontrollable.Im no set up expert so if anyone h...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

I just ordered a second one locally,I will run one and keep the other as an investment,I think they will go up in value over a year or 2 if the 2000 limit is true,No one will be rich by selling their re release off but I like anything that goes up in value, even if its sitting in my shed.

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
