Re: Help: Topcat/Cougar 2 slipper layshaft falling out

If nothing else, great news to find the solution to your problem! Now get it fixed, then celebrate with a couple of fists of rum   Alex Fixed as soon as I located the problem. But now need to find new gear guard, old one melted from where the spur contacted. Do you know if anyone who is ...

Re: Help: Topcat/Cougar 2 slipper layshaft falling out

Sounds like you might be missing one of the A401 1.5mm pins.... slipper layshaft should have two, one in the layshaft belt pulley, and between the pulley and the slipper. if you have both, and all the various spacers, you should be set.... Of course, that's IF I read your problem correctly  A...

Help: Topcat/Cougar 2 slipper layshaft falling out

Hi, has anyone encountered this problem? I was running a hobbywing ezrun 35A esc with a 13T motor. It ran ok geared at 94/20 if a bit slow. I then tried 94/22 and at the first corner a loud buzzing sound told me my spur was toast. Found out about the layshaft problem after taking the gear cover off....

Re: #6002

bully: thanks.

Phin: Yes I meant the cvd shown in Amain. Probably my fault for not making it clearer as I was a bit confused about the item myself.

Bottom Feeder: thanks for clearing it up.

Re: #6002

Does anyone know if this CVD set will be for 2.2" wheels or the 2.0" wheels? Or used in conjunction with the rear wheel conversion kit...or not? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_25_1450_3104/products_id/169074/n/MIP-Associated-RC10-CVD-Kit Also, I sure hope they will be...

Re: cat content...and other cars

that looks super! It seems mine has the battery holder much more forward compared to yours at the mo. My thinking was to use shorty and saddle packs. So when running shorty I'll need it to be more forward to make up for the weight difference.

Re: cat content...and other cars

My "Fatcat" runner in progress. Still heaps to do. Battery position and servo ideas shamelessly stolen from Jason (J.M.) a member here. BTW, can anyone tell me the weight distribution between the axles of the stock Topcat? Or suggest a good one so I can actually steer this thing? Topcat ow...

Re: New Schumacher Cougar KR

I'm laughing but probably for a different reason. Just in case I got it wrong. Did I just hear a grown man who plays with TOY cars calling other toy car playing grown men gay because they wanted to try something different? I would think the majority of people in society would call ALL these men gay ...

Re: cat content...and other cars

Well i gave it a try, i'm not sure if do this colour again, but as a concept it works ok. Maybe red would look better? It's tough to get it even and neat though, more practice would be needed, unless i do black. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k244/pikergonecarpin/IMG_2698_zps6433084f.jpg Paul. T...
