Re: Orangemazda's sneak peek OIN project
[quote="orangemazda"]I laid an RC10T tower ontop of this Fyber-lyte tower last night. The inner ball joint holes are just a touch further outboard then the T-tower. The inner, bottom corners of the Fyber-lyte tower are exactly where the nose tubes pass through the T-tower. This Fyber-lyte ...

Re: Fibre-Lyte RC10 Worlds Front Shock Mount for 0.89 Shocks
Car is a runner. last time out it was only about .5 of a second per lap off the ultimate pace in the 10.5 class that i was running against modern mid motor cars. I have not ran it yet with the new front tower but am hoping it will be better as the shocks were very laid down with the temp tower that ...

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
Bulkhead is a GPM RC10GT item but I am not too happy with it.....on the lookout for an alternative. Ultimately I am hoping to have one made from brass to replace the 40 grams of weight added to the nose!!

Re: Fibre-Lyte RC10 Worlds Front Shock Mount for 0.89 Shocks
Pretty much. The big bores on my RC10 are b4.2 items and work perfect with this tower.fredswain wrote:Are the big bores the same length as the .89?

Yes it's not listed on the site, I will contact them and see if there is a reference number that can be quoted.

Re: Fibre-Lyte RC10 Worlds Front Shock Mount for 0.89 Shocks
I got this tower custom made at Fibrelyte. It is basically a hybrid of the truck tower and a 5mm stretched worlds tower (With a crossbar support). It allows you to fit a standard body and B4 length shocks to a RC10 with the truck nose. very happy with the result....Stephen at Fibrelyte was fantastic...

Thanks. I love the red on there. I have just got the body back from painter and am delighted with results. Custom front tower is on its way from fibrelyte so I hope to finish soon.kaiser wrote:the yaiba parts look really good on there. my b4 has them, but i really dig them on your car.

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
Which ball cups are you using? I don't see a geometry problem with my set up but I have the same issue. My RPM ball cups pop off easily. I wonder if the older pivot balls are smaller. I may try an old trick and put a plastic baggie in between before snapping then together and trim. This should take...

Re: Blacktiger355's RC10 A and B stamp builds!
Yeah I am using the lower rear on my car with big bores and had to fit a shed load of spacers to limit droop.....it works ok but I am thinking that I will switch to a standard tower at some stage.

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
Version 1 of this car was very quickly built up on Saturday to go to my first race meeting in 6 months on Sunday. Had to borrow a shell from another car and work with some temporary parts but I really wanted to check how the car ran in its current state as it is going to be my regular runner. My gue...

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
Really nice bike :D Yep the modern Bianchi celestre is a lot more blue......can't wait to see what shade is on my painted shell. I think vintage bike paint schemes are perfect for RC10. Have all the parts dyed black....all the yaiba parts are stuck in post somewhere so that's holding up the final a...

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
No...I had to do a bit of trimming where the original wing mount tubes were but the alloy parts are bolted straight to the bulkhead. The tricky bit was to position the months to fit around the gearbox.rcgerber wrote:Did you thin up the rear bulkhead to make your inner camber link mod work?

Re: RC10 "Infinito"
Yep big bores....I thought the red would look good but am really delighted with it in reality. The intention is for this to be my regular race car so performance will be more important but looking good is ok too!!
