Re: == Who the Heck Are You? ==
Hey what's up guys. Been searching the net for an old RC-10 and that's how I found this site. A little about me, name's Rob and I'm 37, married, father of three, one of which was just born this past week. I've recently moved to INDY from VA, and have recently gotten back into the racing scene again...

Re: I think I'll keep her (RC10T)
Already considering that. I have some clips, I use them on my on-road cars. I don't have collars for the springs but I can improvise. I would like to keep the stock "look" of the shocks if I can find some new clamps. If not I have a couple of ideas in mind. (never turn a redneck loose in a...

Re: I think I'll keep her (RC10T)
terry, what type of rear shock springs do you have? or are they just compressed a little too much? They were overcompressed, I think they are the original springs. I'd never moved them from where they were when I got the truck. I recently cleaned and refilled all four shocks, installed new pivot bu...

Re: 9/11
The day it happened I was mostly numb. Shock, anger, and disbelief. It was the day after, as I looked up at a totally empty sky, that things really began to sink in. I will never forget. I will never forgive. My soul has been to dark places where no one goes by choice. And I have fought hard to pres...

Re: Modern cab forward bodies
I really like the traditional bodies over the new cab-forward designs.
The new cars look alien to me, like something from a comic book.
No offense to those that have them and like them, just my humble opinion.
But hey, I don't drive well enough for wind-tunnel performance to matter.

Re: Novak/Tekin ESC Fut J connectors???
The ones I have all have the plastic tabs on the plug, sorry. But they are cheap and easy to get on eBay. OTOH, I've never pulled a wire out. The only ones I've ever boken the tab on are the ones i tried to disassembly. For the price I just clip them off and toss them. Can you give me a source on t...

Re: "Thumper"
Not sure, it was just the first thing that popped in my head. With all the duece bodies, i never realized finding THAT ONE would be so difficult. Found several searching, but they are all not quite right. Couldn't find a pic of the Bolink body, found one from RAE that is close but not close enough. ...

Re: Novak/Tekin ESC Fut J connectors???
Are you wanting to change the connectors themselves?
They can be changed, it's tedious work on the small wires.
But new connectors are cheap, I keep a bunch of them since I build glitch caps, Y-cords, and such.
I use the universal style on most everything.

Re: RC10T restore now w/pics
Thanks, I've already ordered one. For the price, I figured it was worth taking a chance on. I did do a modification to the one I have on there now after I posted. I took a scrap of lexan and made a small "washer" with the correct size hole for the rubber plug, and glued it inside the cover...
