Re: Motor installed wrong?????

I use RS-540's quite a bit on RC10's. To get the correct spacing, I use two washers on each screw inside the motor mount. This will move the motor back enough to get good gear contact.

Re: Need Help Picking an ESC & Motor

All of those choices are way too much power. You're going to have a hard time keeping the diff alive with them. I would suggest you look at the Hobbywing Just Stock Club Spec ESC (Sensored for $50) and a Trackstar 17.5 motor ($35).

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit

I've got quite a few hours at the race track with my re-re Worlds now and nothing has broken. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've never broken an arm on one of my cars. With that said, if getting parts is difficult for you, I'd grab a spare set of arms, rear arm mounts and get the RC10 hardware set that i...

Re: Some tuning options for racers and runners

I finally got a chance to have some track time with my Worlds Car equipped with your 25º hubs. The car is just so much fun to drive now. My brushed 27T car was only .2 of a second slower than my 17.5 B4.2. Thanks for providing a good alternative to the crazy expensive Ebay hubs.

Re: Rc10 short arm/ 6 gear setup and race discussion

I finally got my car to drive well! The Lunsford tie-rods and RPM ball cups were a bust. Back to the threaded rods. Anyway, I've got 35wt, black springs in the front and 30wt, silver springs in the rear. After the six gear lost the e-clip that holds the diff in place, I swapped back to the Stealth t...

Re: 21.5 Turn Brushless

21.5 is around RS-540 speed. I thought it was a good fit for my 4 year old. One thing I noticed (at least for my kids) is that if you reduce power, they don't seem to notice and have just as much fun and you won't have to fix the car as often.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit

Thanks for the feedback on the race roller. I take it you changed to brown/black springs and white wheels as well? Yes, I've changed the springs and oil. I had a set of white wheels with JConcepts Dirt Webs from my B3 so I'm using them on this car. Can you tell what changes, if any, were made to cor...

Thanks. I was able to find them on the Shapeways website by typing in "6215". I'll be ordering a set.

Worlds Car Race Roller Got the car today and tore into it. First off, the body does come shrink wrapped to the box, but the whole thing is then put in another box. Mine was stuffed with Chinese newspapers. The body and box were in perfect shape. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s602/rjhodges7/DS...

Re: RC10 CE Set Up and Race Discussion

I have a Worlds Car getting delivered tomorrow and have one evening to get it prepped for racing. I race on a medium size track, with maybe a 50 yard straight. It's indoor, medium grip and bumpy. I run JConcepts Dirt Webs in Green front and rear. I'm planing on running a full size lipo. For a starti...

Very nice...Being a huge Tamiya fan myself, I'll have one of these in my collection at some point. I need to wait for Tower to have another Tamiya sale.
