Re: Part #: 6579 (Associated Diff Drive Rings) : This item has been discontinued
They made the new case (the new version of the 6565 and uses the old 6565 number) narrower between the bearings so you can't close the case if you try to install a vintage diff. You have to use the modern diff outdrives along with the case  To quote my old instructor at Ford, they could mess up...

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
I say go for it! T2's are great runners. Definitely the most fun chassis to customize if you ever want to cut down chassis sides and trim motor plates without sacrificing any rigidity. Otherwise, all you may want to do is maximize track width with wide front axles and for the rear b4/t4 axles and sp...

Futaba Magnum Sr. Steering Foam Replacement
After a lot of research I finally settled on and replaced the foam on the steering wheel of my old Futaba Magnum Sr. (FP-T3PG). Happy with the results and since I didn't find a lot of in depth how to for this online, I thought I'd make a post to help anybody out in the future. Link to the foam I use...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
this is the AE we live with now, we need to just be happy the car doesn't have green tinge parts and a dull gold chassis like those factory 2nds they sold last year.

First, I went through a LOT less clutches. Stopping that was my primary goal, and I don't think was ever advertise...

Re: There and gone
I got my official Associated e-mail letting me know that DS tires and wheels are back in stock. by the time I checked the link both were sold out. Are the new tires and wheels the same size as the vintage ones? I got that same In Stock email about the DS wheels and tires, yesterday at 2:05pm PST, I...

Re: Blasphemous T2 retro racer
Why wouldn't one make a lower CG tower and remove the lower shocks, thus mounting the shocks directly to the arm? You already tweaked the front. Great question! That was one of my ideas, the only real downside is designing the tower and having it cut etc. Ultimately I'm going to wait until I have t...
