Re: Project RC10 graphite…team car?
Be careful with the JConcepts wing tubes. They are not drilled through. They are threaded at each end.
I bought a couple sets because they are nice but I usually just make my own. If I want something nicer, I'll polish them.

I was referring to the RC10 specific ones, with the "L" shaped brackets.

Re: Best Upgrades
Upgrades for me are parts that fix weaknesses in original original design or parts that improve durability and performance. Reducing friction is a plus and worth consideration. For the recently finished New Kyosho Pegasus I “upgraded” the factory plastic ball cups to German Graupner metal ball cups,...

Re: Anyone Have Some Sanyo (red) SCR NiCads Sitting Around?
I was sticking with the red Cadnicas on this one because I thought red with black text would be easier to work with for some reason, but was failing to find a covering that I really liked that I could put a sticker on, and nothing printable was working at all. Then I ran across these on a search for...

OG Ebay find
Just arrived. Nicer than I even hoped. I'm chasing a childhood want that I never got then.
Got a few others on the way to make runners out of. I'm scared to even take this one apart

Re: Tamiya grasshopper, for the track!
Its first track outing was a huge success. It's far greater than the sum of its parts. Handles great, jumps great, it's amazing! A friend took this photo at the track. https://i.postimg.cc/nV4tP9Jf/FB-IMG-1673958037242.jpg Once the steering had been dialed in, it's very placable and stable, easy to ...

Re: Geforce Genova
Hey all, I bought one of these a while back. I had seen them on Facebook (geforces page) and thought it would be a good entry level car just to run and bash around. Like someone said early, I like the rear motor just for nastalgia. I’ve built multiple car by many manufacturers over the years includi...

Re: Solid epoxy diff. Do you really need a working diff?
I'd soak it in acetone to remove the outdrives, then replace the gear, rings, and balls.

Re: Solid epoxy diff. Do you really need a working diff?
Without a diff it puts way more load on the driveline , I tried with my yo-clone-oh to have no one ways up front , it just goes through the chain sprocket in no time , it would be the same locking up the diff , ok if the rest of the driveline is up to it but not really a good idea.
