It’s the other way around:

2.25 Standard: 20t
1.95. 18t

No, Reggie has it right. The 2.65 trans uses the top shaft with less teeth. The 1.96 top shaft has more teeth.

No, they're very different.

Is this a yearly event? Looking for a vintage meet in so cal. Last year was to be the inaugural event. Didn't happen because of Covid. I haven't heard anything about trying it again. Not much, but I got new JC Racing wings for both Masami modern reps. I also spent some time on MCI's website designing a sticker sheet to complete all 3 of my Masami replicas. Just need to have them made, and get the bodies painted for these 2. A few electronics too.

I got the car Thursday morning. Got it fixed up enough to display at the race. Entered it in the concourse and it won best paint and best of show.

Mid motor converted T2 (T2m). As raced at the 2021 Vonats.

I do believe that the tq70's are a 2.0 tire. AE used to have a 2.0 front wheel that looked like the 2.1 TQ wheel. Don't recall the part number.
