I don't like the molded DS rear shock tower as part of this build, so it got replaced. An extra tall rear tower got split into a 2 piece setup.

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)
I first saw one of these on Tamiyaclub back in 2006. First impressions were, "what were they on?" After much investigation and research, I decided that I would buy one and modify it for running. There's no way I could shelve something this weird. The overall plan is to add bearings,...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I have enough RC10 buggies. I will not buy any more. I will not buy any more. I will not buy any more. I will not.... hey, that's a nice little survivor Edinger. I don't have one of those yet...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I had already drilled the chassis for the standard steering servo mount location, so this building it as a standard gold pan seems right. Well, sort of standard.

Re: What size pinion?
The web app used to be offered as a phone app, but apparently they stopped publishing that. This is the web app link (just to have the link): https://apps.associatedelectrics.com/ateamapps/vehicle_reference/rc10classicessentials/index.html The gear ratio part is here: https://apps.associatedelectric...

Re: Project Hyper Hornet
Finished the front end (...finished?) with some Dubro 2-56 sized ball links that accept 4-40 thread turnbuckles and a pair of Yokomo 42mm steel turnbuckles. The front end is an improvement if you're used to a stock Hornet front end, and it is good enough for some bashing fun now. . 1000011737.jpg . ...

Re: RC Top Faux Buff CAT 10
My printer is up and running again after replacing the nozzle heating element so it was time to take care of the battery. I plan to run Lipo but don't need a 5000mah pack. I think these little 2000mah packs have a satisfying amount of run time and they are so light. So I printed up an adapter to fit...

Re: RC Top Faux Buff CAT 10
Any plans for allowing us mere design-challenged mortals access to your printed bits? I hadn't thought much about it. There's a couple of fabricated and modified pieces, and I was focused on making it work in nylon material, so I'm not sure the parts would be strong enough in other materials. You c...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Are you sure it's in there? I mean, if the box isn't opened yet, it could be that Schroder guy's cat in there.

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
Is there any chance the kits could also include a quick release screwdriver handle? I feel like that could come in handy in the build.

Sometimes some new OEM parts are needed.
