introducing myself and my latest build

hey guys i wanted to introduce myself my names alex and i run an online company named speed r/c where i build budget builds,2 types of used customs,new builds,full cleanings and rebuilds and any repairs. the reason i started this company is many hobby shops are going under including the one where i was employed because of the economy and this hobby is the first thing many working people cut out(retired are diffrent totally lol). so i want to be able to do the cars people want built to their liking but on a budget and also to get new people into the hobby i want to keep it alive. mostly i do ebay work and get work from fullsize car forums but enough about that,
i got my first rc(rc10t) from my older brother when i was like 8 im now 18 and i have always loved r/c cars but never knew there was anything fast untill i got this with a novak esc and a hand wound 15x4 motor and it ripped!!! i beat on it untill it broke and broke again untill i ended up with the last of the parts my lhs had then moved on to the stampede that was in the box. then i found an rc10 c/f pan car that was stupidly fast for 25$ and mint! then i found nitro cars and sold all my stuff because i never played with it(god im SOOOO stupid) but when i got tired of my fantom powered rs4 that got clocked at 70mph(i was 11 lol) i got into nitro trucks with a nasty picco powered tmaxx with clodbuster tires and got my use out of that but then started racing 2wd stadium and got bored fast forward to 2 and a half years ago when i started working for the lhs whos owner took care of me from the min he opened and got back into it but now i find more fun building and building to customers specs then driving and getting paid to do what i love is even better. sorry for the long post but heres the rundown on the rc10 im building not sure if im going to sell or keep. i got a gold pan 6 gear and black chassis stealth for 30 and started to look at what i had im building the gold pan useing the best parts heres the specs,

andys a arms all around(are these early rpm parts??)
mip shiney cvds with bearings(not sure if these are stock size?)
houge ent. steering
striped the anodizing on the shocks except the gold on the hex part and polished the rest it looks awsome
stainless steel allen bolts
almost all of the white parts look almost new after a slight cleaning
proline road hawgs on yellow wheels(ill trade for stockers)
polished the wing mounts
lrp esc
id like to put the stealth trans in this car i have the chance of buying the templete but wont need it after(anyone need it?)
i have some stuff to trade for stuff i need
black chassis in good condition with black rear tower
andys arms
hot trick red front tower in great shape
titan 550 or maxtec
ill list more as i go.

new unpainted body and wing
6 gear trans spur gear
i would like an mip trans case stealth or 6 gear or white new stealth case
ill add more when i figure it out this seems like an awsome forum with alot of good info and any help i can add i will along with answering questions etc feel free to pm me

does anyone know what brand these are or just random shocks?

do you guys think i should stick the stock 6 gear back in it has some play and needs a spur gear but the case and gears are mint. i do have a stealth trans but the case looks really bad i would find a new one or paint it. i would LOVE to find an mip 6 gear case. its off to a really great start still cant decide if im gonna sell it(any idea what its worth?)

no problem sorry about that i didnt really start a thread to justask what its worth i am new to the vintage stuff and was just curious about some info and how rare it is. and sorry about the sell/trade im just trying to get my hands on the stuff i need to finish this and if anyone has it, it would be someone here. i know from now on and again sorry im new to this forum

actually i do. i have a couple questions on parts since i havnt seen any on ebay or elsewhere besides here but i just started into these older rc10s and electrics for the first time in FOREVER and i didnt know anything about them except they were used and fast lol a 10t was my first 8 years ago.
houge steering setup is this a common part not worryed about its price or anything. just curious

any idea what year a maxtec motor is from?
also do those green shocks ring a bell to anyone ive never seen them before. also what color was the trans case on the gold pan stealths/black pan stealthsb

thanks for the feedback on the shocks if they wernt all scratched up i would have left them all gold but now that i did them i like them alot along with the polished nose tubes and wing tubes it adds a lot of free flash thats not to cheap looking. the car is far from factory although almost all of them are period mods/brands. i have been toying with the idea of ordering some carbon fiber and cutting some shock towers out but am i able to cut cf with a dremel? if i keep it i will hold out for a new stealth trans case and use the other chassis i have to make a templete out of sheet metal for the holes. or if i can find an mip case without spending a arm and a leg. once the funds allow or i can go through my r/c bench and boxes and ebay some i will order a new body from tower and airbrush some 80s colors and grapics on it or ghost flames on black. im really not an electric guy at all never have since my stampede 8 or 9 years ago. so if i do keep it i will be setting it on the shelf with no electronics and stick to my upcoming rc10gt2 build ill be doing.

need some help guys and i hope i dont offend any mods but this is urgent and although i COULD go to tower etc but for some reason tower takes for ever to get stuff to me out here in pa and the 2 hobby shops within 30-45 mins of me has closed and have only one left(i wish my work never closed id have stuff within a day) and they are no help whatsoever

i need a new clear body doesnt matter if its a viper,protech,etc just that its new and made for an rc10. i only ask on here because i was hoping we can work out a trade i have a bunch of stuff here including a black tub worlds chassis tub/front plate/engine mount andys arms etc
