Yokomo YZ-10 Pavidis Edition (1997 version)
Hi my fellow Yokomo addicts ! It took me nearly a year to take these pics, but at last i was finally able to build a new Works 93 and an MX-4. In addition to that i cleaned up my comepletely mint YZ-10 Pavidis i bought some time ago. Pics of the cars are spread in three single posts.
The Pavidis is equipped with 1997 late model parts, e.g. MX-4 spoked wheels, wheel adapters & CVD's, top brace with crash damper. In addition it sports some fancy team suzuki blue aluminum parts (at least the ones i was not able to get rid of) which i personally don't like. But as this is an original team drivers car i don't care, should be correct timewise as the anodized stuff was becoming more and more popular. I would be very happy if someone could identify the original driver according to the body's paint scheme.
Here we go:

Great car, I like it lots
Any chance of a close up photo of the wheel adaptor? I'm not clear how you mount MX-4 wheels to the older YZ-10 and want to do the same myself one day (haven't got much time for RC at the moment

Re: Yokomo YZ-10 Pavidis Edition (1997 version)
It is a special original yokomo adaptor for the yz-10, with some additional parts it will then end up as the "1997 version". I think they are quite rare, a possible alternative might be using MR-4 BC cvd's and adaptors - but i am not sure about the lenghtminichamps11 wrote:Great car, I like it lots

Just saw your post. I think I know who this car belonged to . It is a good friend of mine, I will have him look at the pics to verify. He worked for Peak/Orion until recently, and has been sponsored by them for many years. BTW its not Ricks. -Jeff

Test drive with a Masami WCS Style Body and different wheels, but i think im might use this one on a Works 93 or a WCS if someone wants to get rid of one

Cracking build! Hoping to build one myself, reckon we could get files to Fibrelyte for a 97 set of towers and top deck?
Did manage to get the wheel adaptors, really cool little things, nice to see the later YZ!

I'd be in for the shock towers and an 870C 4+2 chassis anytime if we find someone who could do this. Same for rare stickers.ralphee wrote:Cracking build! Hoping to build one myself, reckon we could get files to Fibrelyte for a 97 set of towers and top deck?
