When was the tub chassis retired?

Anyone knows when was the last big race Associated ran the tub chassis RC10? I know the Proto of the B2 was ran in ’95 worlds but I was wandering the moment when the team put down the tub and never look back again.

95-96 was the last of the "production" CE, I think the team drivers stopped right after the worlds 95

I was bored and had enough spare leftover parts that I'd likely never use so I put this monstrosity together. I like the fact it looks like a vintage RC car complete with patina. I put a boosted 10.5 brushless in it but am worried the MIP SP-1 wont...

Does anybody of you have experience in making a tub chassis from aluminium? I would be interested in making one, but there are a lot of questions...

Which material is good?
What heat threading processes are needed...

Hi all, has anyone out there fitted b3 suspension on to to a tub chassis ? Got a spare tub and loads of b3 suspension bits, don't look to hard, has anyone tried it ? Thanks all, have a good one.

Kool..to make the rear work you had to cut off the back to mount the new section to use the tranny.I have a b4 and I want to run it in my rc10 runner plus I like the long arms.I tried the rc10 t with buggy wheels but its just not right.and handles...

Today I started to make an tub chassis (like fibre lyte one) made out of carbon and glassfiber. In the pics you can see what is going on. Thickness arround 3mm so if everything goes right it will be an very stiff chassis.
If any question please...

Just picked up this car the other day. I know it is a YZ-10, and that it has the fybre-lyte tub chassis, shock towers, and upper plate. But I am looking for specifics, such as model, type year maybe-anything to get a better idea of what it is....
