Um.....Yes!.....It's called natural weight reduction. Like F1, before the blocks were used!
I like it!
Thanks, I like it as well! The weather has been very good in Calgary this weekend, and I was able to run both days. I must have put 24 packs through it and my RC10T2. I ran my SC10 once, got it dirty and put it back in the carry box. Pulled out the vintage cars and never stopped! My Gold Pan is so much fun! The Hydradrive works very well, and that's hard for me to say about a Losi product! I have never used a Hydradrive until this car!
Great looking RC10, love the paint job. Looks like it's been a pretty good work horse. I do the same sometimes, I end up running my vintage stuff more then my new stuff, I can't wait to get my newly acquired Gold Pan up to running condition and let it rip out on the track. Starting to get warm here as well, time to go out and check the condition of the track and get some batteries charged up!

This looks like a great fun buggy, well used but still highly affective! For me this is what being into Vintage R/C is all about, sure its lovely to have a pristine example of your favourite model sitting on the shelf.... but theres far more enjoyment in using them like they were intended

My goal is to have a pristine example of every type of RC10 sitting on the shelf, and then a runner of each type! I do enjoy running one more than looking at a mint one. Even though that's fun too!
I have extra rear YZ10 wheels that I want to use on my RC10 runner? The adapters don't look the same as the ones from the YZ10, are they specific for the RC10? Got info on that (part #, etc.)? I'm using Team Car universals and hubs. Is there anything else that I need? TIA!

Edit: Found the adapters!
The adapters are not the same as the YZ10 they are RC10 specific made by Yokomo for a 1/4" axle. Not sure on the part # off hand! They are a little hard to find but I'm sure you can find some here or on eBay, sooner or later!
Just seen your edit, happy you found some, they are cool but a bit heavy!
Thanks for the reply. So there's nothing else needed aside from the adapters, correct?
How's the tire choice with using these wheels? Almost all tires now are 2.2". I have 3 pairs of these wheels with mounted tires but don't know where to buy replacements after.

I have had this runner for a long time as you can see from my original post, and I thought I would like a original 6 gear short arm runner. So I converted my mostly Worlds in to a 6 gear.
Hello, i have been looking on this forum for a while now and I have learned a lot of about the gold pans thanks to all you guys. So I just wanted to say thank you.
I still have a few questions that I cant find the answers to so I decided to just...

This is my runner what i use it every week . At first it had the fiber glass shock mounts and the original slipper on but i have went for the b4.1 slipper and graphite bits and bobs. The yokomo rear wheels are the wrong off set these are...
I bought this not too long ago to mess around with. Looks like the individual started dying the white parts black and then didn't finish :? Dispite that and a few missing parts, It's in pretty decent shape for it's age. I've procured some missing...

I started the fun buggy body project this week, it's the Parma version bug with a 2 color pactra base & vinyls I made. Simple retro style design. It wasn't suppose to be so German flag colors looking, but I'll take it. Using on-road posts I have...
This is my start to a gold pan runner build. Milled the chassis at work and rounded over back of chassis where it attaches to the motor and also rounded over the nose piece and cut it the same shape as the 6309 nose. Then sanded edge of chassis all...

Added the battery strap today and got the turnbuckles and ball ends a cleaned and installed. I will eventually add titanium turnbuckles but these will be fine for now.
I have 2 10s i picked up last week. One graphite and one gold pan Edinger. Neither are complete enough to run with out stealing parts from the other.
I have not experience graphite before and leery about using it.
I am not going to bash the heck...

that's what happened to me, I had to decide too, now I got both
This is a great site and I would like to get some info regarding RC10 Gold Pan Runner builds. I have a A Stamp chassis and would like to use the same B4 Hub Set Up with B44 CVAs. Most of the builds that I see here in the forum shows a B4 Hub/B44 CVA...

This is looking very nice, you have a cool clean gold runner. :D
Trinity pulse 10.5, it's close to being the same colour, haven't seen any other gold anodised motors but post them if you see any. Only the 10.5 is gold I guess so scrutineers can pick easily it for super stock.

Dayum, that's close! It still makes me chuckle to see a Trinity brushless product knowing how badly they bashed brushless technology back a few years ago .
