Looking good. Did you paint or re-anno that chassis?

I painted it in satin black. I might wet sand with some 800 or 1000 grit paper and put a couple more coats on but im not sure yet.

Looks great Mike. I'm envious! As a minor suggestion, maybe clean the outdrives up with a wire wheel on a dremel? To me the rust detracts from the rest of the car - if that's what I see in the pictures.

A brand new 3m scotch brite pad will do the same thing to the out drives, and leave them a little more natural looking if you have a light hand-

I am too ham fisted to use a dremel without making sparks

Ok got the outdrives cleaned up and the tranny completely rebuilt! Added new arms and started on new turnbuckles and looking good so far. I just got an email from a friend and he is selling me a worlds car that was only ran a couple of times on asphalt with foam tires and is other wise new. The car has no marks on the bottom side of the car. Original tires have not been ran and has full period radio gear and he is selling it to me for 150.00 and im very stoked.

Here are some pics of that graphite team car Reggie now where is my battery brace?

That should help you with the front tire size question
