Really impressive. My skills don't go beyond a two-tone scheme done with blue tape using any exsiting lines on the body as my guide!

If you can do a two-tone you can do this one just take your time.sneako43 wrote:Really impressive. My skills don't go beyond a two-tone scheme done with blue tape using any exsiting lines on the body as my guide!
Re: tape and paint Early RC10
My next project is a T2 body for the RC10T I am currently rebuilding...maybe now I'll have the confidence (and patience) to try for something more detailed! Thanks for the motivation!rctenracer wrote:If you can do a two-tone you can do this one just take your time.sneako43 wrote:Really impressive. Re: tape and paint Early RC10
As commented on your TC showroom, this body is really nicely done - you have a lot of patience
Painting bodies is 10% spraying & 90% masking out/preparation... I too am not skilled enough with the knife blade to use the spray mask - I feel much more confident to cut masking tape on a modelling board before applying it to the shell - unfortunately this does limit you to certain designs & is time consuming.

Re: tape and paint Early RC10
Thanks for the comment ruffy. I do have a driver but he is going into the box art body I am working on . The box art body will have the windows cut out and netting I have left over from a hot shot kit. The driver was painted by racer8838. I wish I would have cut out windows on the body I have posted .Ruffy wrote:Very nice rctenracer!!!!!
