Looking for a basher

Can anyone suggest a decent cheap basher truck. I bought a second hand Tamiya Wild Dagger a short time ago for this purpose, I was hoping with twin motors it would tick along a bit but unfortunately not, it's a bit pants actually

. I would like something to take to the local BMX track that will get some impressive air, so parts availability need to be good, electric only as I have a no limits speed controller and a number of modified motors to use and I'm not into smelly nitro (for cars anyway). Any ideas welcome.

I use a T3 for bashing .... also have a Stampede

But on this forum go with the T3 with a brushless + Lipo setup

Nice idea but = $$$$$$£££££ I would stick with the brushed stuff I have for cost effectiveness.

Have you got experience with them Shodog

Aren't they also twin motored, does it causes a bit of an esc problem if you want to run hot modifieds

ahh, just come off the pocket and pick up an e-maxx and brushless set-up. I run it more than any other cars combined. Runs anywhere, good runtime, fast, doen't break too easy. Just a pricey initial investment, but for the use I have gotten out of it, it was worth it. I also have an old xxt brushless basher thats good fun too. I think a stampede would make a good basher too.

The stampede is a great basher, durable and parts are plentiful.
They have a brushless version coming out which has a few durability upgrades over the standard version and looks to be a great bang for the buck.
I've never owned a t-3 or t4 so I can't comment on their durability for a basher.

B4 or T4. They're as durable as anything out there, and they perform better.

Get a T3. They are tough for sure. My kids have them and they have had some spectacular crashes and driven away. Parts easy to find (including upgrades). The T4 is a little better suspended, but easier to to break.

Find a couple of T2's... thrashed & cheap. Great basher trucks! Of course you'll then want a mint one for that "last of the alloy tubs" shelfer...

I think that one is definitely getting away from the "basher" theme of the thread.
