This was listed on Ebay as T2. It is not as I am comparing to to a T2 I just scored as well. It is also not the same as my B4.1 but the chassis recessed part is about the same size and shape as that, rectangular vs. hole in the T2 chassis which is square. It's all new and rebuilt nice but what is it?
Im trying to get my RC10 back on the track! I have a Composite Craft chassis for the 6 gear tranny! My problem is I have no tranny for it! I will be running brushless 13.5 or 17.5! What is my best option!
I would like to put a 3 stealth in but there...

Finally found a stealth tranny! Now I just need the mailman to hurry up, so I can start my build
I am 13 years old and have a couple of RC 10T's that are almost twice as old as me and I enjoy driving them. But I keep destroying the idler gear out of the transmission. I have loosened the slipper clutch so that way it is putting less...

As long as they're not meaty monster truck tires that shouldn't be the problem.
I want to go brushless on my b3 but I'm assuming the original stealth tranny won't be able to handle the power and scatter it...so what would be the easiest way to change it? Just buy all the b4 stuff? Or the thunder tiger xb's? Thanx

update:
Idler gear itself fits BUT you do need different bearings and also the shaft is different. This means you also would need the TT trans. case. :(
Does anyone know if a B4 or B3 transmission will fit on a RC10 gold pan? The reason I ask is that I am having a hard time finding a original stealth trans and there seem to be alot of the B4 one's on ebay.
My uncle give me his old rc10 a few year...

scr8p is right. I've ordered all of the Stealth trans parts over the last couple months.
I've had my RC10CE with Stealth since the early '90s and am looking to build one up for my 5 year old. I'm trying to figure out the difference between Stealth, 6-gear, and 3-gear transmissions on listings.
I'd appreciate a quick primer or direction...

Thanks for the reply and welcome message. That clears it up.
It's so cool to find an active discussion about these awesome little machines - there's lots to learn here!
Quick question, normally I run a thin layer of Tamiya ceramic grease on the gears in transmissions. When I opened the trans on my XX it was bone dry and clean.
Should I leave it dry, run light grease, or use some other oil? Let me know what you use....

Plastic gears + grease = bad
except what kaiser said. Tamiya is OK. In fact I think they recommend it. Dont know about the newer Tamiya buggies though.
I got a kit off of ebay with a bunch of spare white parts, and there was a transmission case with it that I have not seen before. It is a 6 gear case but appears to be machined, not moulded. The nylon also appears to be denser and it is a lot...
