That's a sharp looking buggy. The snake is a little scary though Is that taken from the one of the posters I sent you?

flipwils11 wrote:Parts came back from annodizing. I think the wheels are beautiful but they are definitely more orange than the chassis. They match my gold pan runner chassis much better but then if I used a late Cadillac gold/orange like that, atlas's gold suspension parts wouldn't match either. Arggh, it never ends. I'm good with it though. The little things are Technacraft wing mounts and the shock body is the sample I sent for the color match.
What was annoying is I got two sets of shock collars back so apparently they mixed up Y'ernat Al's parts and mine so he's probably getting my spring perches in his shipment. Brian, thanks for going 50/50 with me on the anno and we'll get this figured out.
Also, doh, the front Associated brace won't mount on atlas's suspension mounts. Oh well, anyone need this thing now that it's annodized gold?
And finally, to complete my rant, the beautiful knockoffs that Brandon sent with the Sees wheels are drilled and tapped for the smaller, stock front axles. These Technacraft unobtainium metal ones are the same size as the rear axles! Arggh.
What kind of Shock collars and spring perches did you use to fit the original gold shocks?

That's going to be a beauty! Too bad about some of the gold anodized parts not matching--that's a problem with gold, it often varies anywhere from a champagne color to orange.
Did you polish the wheels and other parts before having them anodized?
