Bear-Trap peddles- Oh yeah! I still remember what those things used to do to people's shins.
Awesome news!

Yeah Bear Traps were awesome. Tiogas had the knock-offs for us who could not afford them at the time. And now I am hooked on Crupi's version. I hope that they bring out some new "Old" Frames.

I badly want a Haro. Had one back in the 80's and recently learnt they made a re-run of the Freestyler and another later model.

Gary hook me up with your connection man.

Hutch is definitely back. This is not a good come back. The guy who runs the business is not a good guy. Anybody who's spent more than 5 minutes on any of the vintage bmx boards knows his number. If I was given a new Hutch product I would throw it away. As for the pedals scarring your shins back in the day, that would be the least of your worries today, the new ones have a history of breaking at the spindle.

If I ever shaved my legs, I could be mistaken for a torture victim!

Between the Crupi Pedals, Odyssey Black Widows, and Triple traps with Crupi cages my shins and knees look like I lost a fight with a Velicoraptor. It wasn't until I began racing competitively at Hunterdon County BMX in Flemington, NJ that I got smart and bought some Hammer 3z's!

I came along a tad later, so my affinity lies with the early 90's bikes, like the Auburn CR20Rx, the Haro Monocoque, S&M dirt bike (still have mine) and TNT bikes (longfello and Hwa Fong Daddy).

For those of you that know Haro, what were the series of bikes for racing in the early 90's, does Group 3 or Group 1 ring a bell??? I always missed the one I had.

I still have my old Haro Master from my youth, and like most of my vintage RC it needs a light restoration. Looking for nos parts.

The only nice bike I've ever owned was a Haro I got in the early 90's as a birthday present. I forget what group number it was. I put many miles on it until I sold it in favor of a drivers license. Looking back I wish I hadn't... Ah well.

Haro Group 1 RS1, RS2, or RS3. RS1's were the top of the line race bike back then. I had a RS3 for a few months but it got stolen. I replaced it with the sport I recently restored and showed pics of a couple months back.

You should see what the "real" aerocranks go for. The last set I saw on epay went for $2000+! Same with Haro Group1 cranks. Can't touch a nice set for under $800. Mint go for $1000+. Don't think I'll ever have those on my restored Sport!
