Re: Finally finished it...
I wish. It's funny, I've met almost every driver that ever was EXCEPT Masami. I actually found this on eBay years ago and it's been sitting in a box until I could get a frame for it. According to the person I got it from, it was his jacket from the Worlds in Australia when he swept. I have a friend at Yokomo that I have always wanted to ask just to make sure. Even if it wasn't really THAT one, it's still my favorite thing in my shop. I think I may take it back out and try to straighten it up a little more. That one sleeve is bugging me!

Its a 16x20 shadow box I got at Micheal's Arts and Crafts for like 25 bucks! it's about 3 or 4 inches thick and I cut a sheet of carboard and folded the jacket around it to give it some body to stand up... that and I couldn't bare to stick pins through it or put velcro on it.

Re: Finally finished it...
Anyone that knows me even a little bit HAS to know that I tried to put it on. Depite the fact that I'm not really a heavy set guy it's surprisingly small on my my guess would be about a medium. I can't get both arms in and the sleeve is about 3/4 sleeve on my arm.
On another note I just set the date with RCHR this Saturday. It'll be Sept 15-18th. I'll be sending out emails this month and mailers in the spring. Some exciting things for this year!

That is so awesome, to imagine how hard it is to find any vintage Yokomo clothing let alone a piece that is signed by masami!

You gotta wear that next time you go to the mall.
Seriously though, it's a pretty cool collector's piece.
