Works 93 finally finished 1/4/2012

Post by Alex B »

Finally got hold of a works 93 just before Christmas. The holidays gave me the prefect opportunity for a complete rebuild.

The car came to me in really good order but was minus the correct top deck and battery straps so I had to get them in carbon fibre from Fibreltye, I also got the steering link and torque stay in carbon. The shocks were taken from my works 91 runner but Aaron has provided me with a complete new set that will be fitted to the 91. I also have a nice repro shell that I got from jay in a trade to go on. Any suggestions as to the paint scheme would be appreciated.

This has to be my favourite in the evolution of the 870c series

Big thanks to Aaron, Fibrelyte for the rebuild and Jay for the shell

Enjoy the pics. Seems my Yoke collection is pretty much complete looks like I may be getting an RC10 soon

Ps I haven't set the camber yet 8)

Nice and nice collection. Is that a Tomy body on the center bottom? I really like that look, bscotti had one on his at last years VNats. I have been toying with the idea of reproing it.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Nice collection! I don't see any 834b/Dogfighter/RPS-SE buggies there though. As a Yoke nut I strongly suggest that you fill out that niche in your collection before moving on to the AE cars...

The all-black body with the splashes of bright, random color here and there actually looks good. Nice drive! ;)
