Stealth Trans Drill Template.

Hi all, I just picked up a stealth transmission a week or so ago. I have an "A" stamped chassis with no stealth holes. Anyone know where I can pick up a drill template or something that will help me line up and drill the holes. Searched and found a few topics, but none that really told me where I could pick something that would work up.

Problem solved...I just picked up a pan with the stealth holes drilled. Was going to try a build anyway.

Now clamp them together bottom to bottom and you have your Stealth drill template.

Hello all,
I’m looking for the actual drill bit size the was included with the original 6560 stealth trans upgrade kit. There was a drill bit included with the template(6590). I know what the close fit and loose fit clearances are for a 4-40 screw...

No, and the manual in the Stealth kit doesn't mention or show you how to use the drill template either. What even more odd is that the 6590 drill template only includes the drill bit in the 6560 box kit. The retail header card pack is the template...

Can anyone use a stealth hole template (original, used only once)? I have enough stealth-ready tubs. It would be nice if someone could reproduce it for other forum members.

If all else fails, you can use a stock aluminum chassis pan for a template. Just bolt-on your graphite chassis using the rear suspension mounting holes and drill the four tranny holes.

I've got some JC Racing YZ-10 wheels for my Procat. Is it worth drilling the extra pair of holes in the rims or is two enough? I also wondered why there were only 2 holes if the wheel fitment had four screws? Thanks for any comments.

True. Maybe I'll give them a nice photo of mine to use :D

The ones I got were fine, no defects. A little flashing maybe, but easily sorted with a sharp scalpel.

I think the dish wheels collect less dirt than the five-spoke and look good too.
