They didn't come with instructions. Seriously, I'm not sure if there's a required orientation for this type of wheel. Both ways are fine by me, but I prefer them looking more like saw blades than pinwheels. Just how I roll.

Those style of rims even in the 1:1 world are called directionals and are supposed to be mounted "pinwheel" style as you referred to it as. But just between you and me I don't mind the "saw blade" orientation for something different.

Beautiful looking buggies by the way for sure!

Received mine this morning and very pleased with the quality. I hope Lohas see fit to make some more styles of these rims...

Good to know that the Tecnacraft master approves 8)
I have a set of the 5 spokes and think they are awesome but I don't have any Tecnacrafts (yet) to compare them too.
Also Emerson is great to deal with :D

So here are a few comparison photos. I think you can see the Lohas wheels are a fitting tribute to the tecnacraft wheels. Close enough to the original design but different enough to know it's a Lohas wheel.

Well, that solves my wheel problem for the Early Cadilac I am working on... I will certainly buy a set of the Hurricanes if the 5 spokes don't come back... Thanks for the comparison shots! The modern copper/gold color will match beautifully with my powdercoater's work on the tub/nose/engine plate.

Not that it bothers me ( I know that Jim isn't in it for the $ ) but there goes the value of Tecna's, now that there is a nice alternative other than See's-

I think the value of tecnacrafts could take a slight hit but in the end they will keep their value. The Lohas wheels are different enough and they only come in this one size.

yeah, the tecna's are unique, and will hold the ridiculous pricing. The die-hard tecna fans can still have their wheels, and everyone else who just want some cool aluminum wheels can have their chance now.

I'm glad Lohas is making wheels, I hope he continues. The beauty of it is, regardless if he made the wheels to the 98% specifications of the tecna's, they are still 2.2" wheels. Easy to determine which is which....

How about it Emerson? Any chance in doing a 2.0 rear and 2.1 front? :D
