New Guy first Rc10 buggy
I have been checking out this site alot looking at info on my RC0T2 That i bought when I was about 13, just dug it out and cleaned it up but i have always wanted a buggy and found one on craigslist for $50 so here it is I think its a worlds the tail is scraped up and alittle banged up and the nose is about the same but the bumper you se on it is what came with it i kinda dig it. Most of the white pars are red even the RPM front arms O and it came with a rc10 GT box full of parts for both GT and RC10 came with a motor installed too hooked up a esc and that old motor flies the body looks like a worlds but it is kinda beat up These pics are when i first got it two days ago. So did i make out ok

That's a worlds car, as you clean it up you might want to dye the old parts black to make the look a little better, or least it as it is. Sounds like a nice little score! Welcome to 10talk.

Nice, That car came off Craigslist, I emailed the seller asking for more pictures,the seller sent them at 7:35 Friday and I replied at 8:40 telling the seller Id take it just needed a time and place to meet,The ASS emails me back late Saturday saying they sold it.What a turd,I was going to email them back to bitch but fingered what good would it do so o well! anyway welcome to the form and nice score.

It amazes me that people can't take 10 minutes to clean things like this up before listing on craigslist. Most of the rc stuff I see listed, even modern stuff that is sold by RC enthusiasts, seems like it was just run on a loose dirt track and put away that way.

I've seen that too quite often and always thought the same thing.I've gotten stuff that was absolutely filthy and within 5 minutes had it looking like new.Doesnt take much more then a damp paper towel to clean up after a run.Some folks are just lazy I guess.flipwils11 wrote:It amazes me that people can't take 10 minutes to clean things like this up before listing on craigslist. Nice score for $50 and welcome to the forum.
I reckon if you disassembled it and cleaned (or dyed with RIT dye) it that car would look great. I think sometimes sellers leave the crud on to hide any damage but it seems that you still got a very nice score thats for sure.
