Got this one finished. I wanted to run it so I added some older electronics but it bit me in the ass by being cheap and not going with a 2.4 setup. First run out in the yard I lost total control and wound up slamming into a retaining wall. I got lucky as it only snapped a tie rod. Still didn't learn and gave it another shot and wound up running after it like a hundred dollar bill in the wind. The little bit of time I did get control of it was very cool. The older esc and radio looks cool and thats about it, I'm ready for some new stuff.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

nice buggy and body.
I also had trouble with that particular futaba receiver in the aluminum pan. You have the crystal close to the side chassis. I would try swapping receivers before ditching all electronics.
