Post by aip47-2008 »

Are these the correct rear carriers for the 91 / 92 "works"?

I can't believe that you can find this, aaron. my works'91 come with this part but I can't find any information about this hub carrier, they directly fit.

I bought them in a Yokomo parts lot from the UK. The buyer told me they looked just like his 91 rear carriers on the shelf. But I have never actually seen a good picture of these before!

Apparently they are quite rare / hard to find!

AFAIK, 91/92/93/94 are all the same except later ones may have come with 2 holes for mounting to the arms (hi/low). The ones you have are sks or something. I have a set somewhere.

Nice :)

I believe I have seen a pic of a Masami car with those rear carriers on it before...Just dont remember which one it was...I bid on a parts lot with some of those carriers in it, a few months back but sadly I did not win it.

I'll have to look for that pic now.

Just to clear up which Yokomo came with the rear unique hub carriers that Aaron has posted, it is the Yokomo Works '91.

The Works '92 (essentially the same chassis speciafications as the Works '91 albeit with some running changes) used the same rear hub carriers that were used for the Works '93, WCS, 94 YZ10 and Pavidis YZ10.

Again, these hub carriers were only used on the Works '91 and are hard to find because Yokomo changed the design quite quickly to the newer design hub carriers.

I thought they were the same! And yes there is always something out there that surprises me when it comes to RC, I'm happy to never stop learning :)
