Should've got someone to make a vid yesterday. Was another round of the NSW interclub series. Came 4th in the first final, stuffed the 2nd final then in the 3rd final I was coming 4th but did a wheelstand halfway down the straight approaching the line at the end of the race, did a cartwheel and a rear axle snapped through where the wheel pin goes, car stopped a few metres from the line and I end up losing about 4 positions
Gotta put more weight in front but it's already 200g over the minimum weight.

Here's some pics of it mounted in a bare gold tub, didn't go with that motor plate because it was drilled to suit a b3 gear cover and I needed the b4 one to clear the slipper nut. The gearbox to chassis mount attaches to the gearbox with some pan head screws recessed into it. One annoying thing is if you want to remove the gearbox you have to unscrew the shock tower to access those 2 front screws.

where in the world is gettin this carbon fiber from that isnt super expensive(or else it wouldnt be worth it to make it, right???) i wanna make some tmaxx parts possible a chassis mixed with aluminum. also i know your supposed to use a carbide blade to cut it but can you get away with anything else to make the clean cuts such as yours?

I was getting it from this seller on Ebay http://stores.shop.ebay.com/cjcompositestechnology__W0QQ_armrsZ1
They usually have 3.5mm panels for sale, try asking them. They were selling various size small panels usually around 12"x10" from $20-$30 so they're pretty cheap.

My first cuts on carbon are just rough cuts slightly out from the marked line but I use a dremel with diamond cutting wheel and then get the edges to where they should be with a grinding stone. Then finish it off by hand with a big diamond file.

hehe the triple jump is awesome, pretty funny with a crosswind too the wind gets under the body and you get blown onto another part of the track. 4WD's were doing backflips on it too.

Nah can't really make mounts to sell, they take hours to machine by hand. Best hope of getting new ones is dynotech making them.
