Edinger Find...
The chassis doesn't have a stamp. I took most of it apart and gave it a good cleaning. The previous owner said that it had some upgrades including a front set of Andy's arms, ball bearing steering and the Litesink motor sink is neat too. I think that the shock towers are carbon fibre, but they have an odd texture - rough and almost like hardened glue. I never realized how thick the plastic for the gear cover and the body was on these earlier rc10's. Sooooo thick compared to todays bodies. I can't imagine what it would have been like cutting these out BITD. When I took apart the six gear trans, it was mint inside and even had a good coating of the black grease. All of the white plastic pieces had been changed to black, except for the battery cups which I just replaced since they were a little hacked anyway.
The electrics consist of a Tekin Mospower ESC and an Associated sport motor. The ESC is a little glitchy, maybe it needs a little cleaning inside? I've looked for the manual on Tekins website. They have a lot of their vintage stuff on there, but I couldn't find anything on this ESC.
Just thought I would post since it is an interesting buggy - someone spent a fair amount of time on the details putting this one together. I don't think there is much more to do - maybe I could find some vintage decals and dress up the body a little.

Looks good. I'd love to see another shot with the body on and maybe outside in some better light. The body looks like it will compliment the rims nicely. Nice Piece!

parma. looks just like the rear. one side nice and smooth, the other, rough and unfinished. they used to come as sets, like the old composite craft towers where they're cut at one time and held together by a few little slivers. i've had a new rear tower for years, but have never managed to find it's mate.klavy69 wrote:what shocktower is that Jason? Re: Edinger Find...
More photos...gives you a good view of the front tower and with the body on. It's raining here today and rain for the next few days so I won't have a chance to take any photos in natural light. I'm still trying to find a way to use my cheap camera to take great indoor photos.
The camera really washes out the colour on the body. The colour is deeper than it shows.
