They looked fairly realistic up in the air. The title of the article should really be "Humans fly over New York city" though.

haha dug these up from the days of my first bulk rc10 purchase (had to be like 18 mabey younger )

my rocket boosted rc10

this was the only vid i salvaged from all thoes years ago

at the time it was what ever hobby lobby had
i used e motors in the end (you can see i started wuith a smaller tube for the smaller motors then ubgraded to a larger tube for tyhe d/e motors)

but my local hobby store has the arotech motors right...

Anyone ever take their rc toys on a plane? My girlfriend and I are flying to omaha, and would like to take our stampedes. I just want to make sure If I check them, and the nimh batteries, they won't think that they are a bomb and take em from me. :D...

I'm just guessing here, but I imagine that the boosters are actually model solid rocket boosters, and it launches like a real shuttle, and then boosters and tank separates like the real...
