Re: YZ10?
Thanks Alex - This model had no top deck from stock?Alex B wrote:Yes a YZ 10/870c. It has an after market rear shock mount and a peculiar (home made) half top deck and Kyosho gold shocks.

Re: YZ10?
the 870c had the carbon fiber right angle backbone, which is installed in your car, no top plate. That half top plate looks like a place to put a servo, probably for a mechanical speed controller.

What about the motor - is it standard Yokomo stock for a 91´ works?

Re: YZ10?
Yes the last one is the Hotdog. The chassis, bulkheads, shock mounts and shocks are 1st generation YR4, the first Yokomo touring car. The suspension is that of a 91'. Interestingly the Hotdog came with rear dogbones and only 5 balls per diff. It also shared the same centre shaft and spur gear as the later YZ 10.

Re: YZ10?
Many thanks for the information - Is it still possible to source chassis parts for this one or the YR4?Alex B wrote:Yes the last one is the Hotdog. I´have a new build YR4 without the top deck and that makes it flex just a little on the good side
