A little Sassy Jrx2
well its not in my hands yet but I just got the pic's of my finished Jrx2 Sassy chassis. I wanted something a little different than all the Jrx2's out their so I took my nip Chassis and sent it off to my Guy to Anodise it Blue. it looks fantastic and he is doing a nip motor plate to match. I have a lot of nip parts just waiting for it to come back. it will be a very supped up Jrx2 I have all RPM 5 link, arms, bellcrank's Jammin Jay steering inhansment kit. here is a little peak at what I am going to start with.

Looks like a nice start, I still kinda kick myself for not picking one of those up when they were being sold on the Bay.

Very nice start. I keep saying once I am done with the RC-10 I will work on my JRx2, but I never seem to finish it.
Can't wait to see the progress pictures.

I dont expect it back for a few weeks from the anodiser. but I cant wait to put it together either. I am planing on going to the Vonats if I make it I will bring this car up their. I ment to grind it out for a retro fit trans before I sent it but forgot. I have a MIP trans if I can find a top slipper shaft for it I may run that.

I was very happy with the results of his work and attention to detail for my Barney parts.bearrickster wrote:thanks Gary, Don just Emailed me hes almost done with the lot of parts I sent him. Re: A little Sassy Jrx2
That's fuggin awesome man. Are you building a runner? It's just so damm pretty...but since it's gonna be souped up how can it not be a runner? You going brushless? Well if you decide not to run her I can totally understand.
You ever seen back in the day they used to have like a clear underbody cover? man you could build a pseudo runner if you could score a nice clear undercarriage cover.
I can't wait for my JRXT beater to come in....it looked pretty much complete...im gonna tear her down and build back up to JRX2 uniform its also a 5 linker....but it's def gonna be a runner. I just wish we had more parts available.
I scored a 17.5 turn roar spec'd Trinity D3 sensored brand new in the box. I got several pieces coming in myself. As im rebooting my 20 year old gear and modernizing....the only thing old will be the chassis but by choice. Definitely jealous of your RPM linkage setup as that's as heavy duty as we can get from what I understand....although i guess the titanium upper side arm I've seen here and there would serve heavy too.
Whatever you do can't wait to see it.

Glad to be back in this hobby so many many years later. To see new things and to recollect on ALL cool vintage models!
