rc10 fragile and unforgiving???? i bash mine for a few hours every week and its fine..
extra car for parts
good move.. if you can find a jrx pro with a xx/3 gear trans buy it.. if you find just a parts car with the xx/3gear trans make sure it has the drive shafts too , the old ones will not work with that trans.. i never had bad luck with my jrxpro (with losi 6gear) but i did blow up the trans 3 times on my first lxt (with losi 6gear)

My RC10 is fine on dirt or on the street in front of the house. Put in on a hard packed clay track though and it'll practically blow itself apart. It is also far less forgiving in the handling department than the JRX. The JRX has always been an easier car for me to drive.

I got some XX4 wing mounts and (for now) screwed them to the lower inside shock mount holes. I was a little worried that the wing would be too flat, but the car drove well at the track I took it to yesterday.

Just finished painting a new body and I thought it would be a good time to post some new pictures. The body is red, not pink, really... it's just the light.

I ended up "modernizing" the car a lot more than I'd originally intended. Particularly with the brushless motor, it puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it...

That's a nice, clean Losi, Keith. Love the color-matching shock springs, and even the racy Adidas paint-job! 8)
