I got this in a trade about 10 years ago for some pan car parts. I used to run it all the time. It's time for a rebuild. I swear heard it crying as I was taken it a part. LOL!

They weren't a standard item I don't think - I used to run them on the rear of mine though BITD, to lower the rotating weight of the transmission, the plastic outdrives and driveshafts were considerable lighter than their steel counterparts.

Shuey design love showing huh Jason?
I was torn between sliders or composite outdrives and aluminum loss bones on my X2 build. I got a set of aluminum bones, but going with the std outdrives as its what I was given..
Here is a little update. While going throught he rear diff I noticed the inner diff bearing had seized inside the gear. I triad prying it out and POP balls everywhere. Needless to say I wasn't a happy camper. I have not had any luck locating one. Dosen't matter if it is a used one. I am going to check and see if it is used on other Losi cars or trucks.

This one is a TL-01 I picked up a few years ago, it came with the esc and Futaba radio already and worked well. In an effort to interest my wife in my hobbie (another 1 of...

Ok, so i've finished putting the chassis back together and fitted the new wheels to her :D I still need to fit the new body mount kit and the remaining radio gear  Still progress made
This will sort of be a step by step rebuild of an OS engine.
I want to check the bearings as I put it away many years ago without after run oil and it was a bit gunky. It ran ok last time I used it a few months ago but it didn't feel 100% right,...

Hey guys I’m new to the forum and am rebuilding my 1985 original RC10 I bought new for $185. Still have the receipt. I am looking for a few slam parts in the transmission. I need 2 new felt seals and I noticed one of the idler gears in the trans has...

I see 6633 and 6614 on eBay for $30 shipped ea. If you want to try and save a few bucks you can try Facebook r/c groups. I agree with the 3/8 x 5/8 outdrive bearing mod. We were doing those in the very early 90's when bearings were roughly...
After seeing slotcarrod´s thread about his B2 runner I did feel an urge to (try) re-build mine which obviously was a mix between a B2 and a B3.
Have been trying to suck in as much info as possible about the B2 and this is todays stand,...

looks great. I have been doing similar with an old B3, but my route was almost all used parts slowly building a runner for cheap. I close to finishing soon. I heard a few parts for these are available from Thunder Tiger via the Phoenix BX which is a...
So I'm slowly starting to go through the few cars I got and tonight's subject is an old RC-10 with a 6 gear transmission, A&L trailing arm suspension and Compiscraft (not 100% sure) chassis.
I forgot to take the pics when it was all...

Little bit of attention to the A&L trailing arms goes a long way.
Picked this junior-2 up super-cheap off ebay. it came with an uncut unpainted bluegroove body/wing/gear cover. The lot cost me about $15 more than TBG sells the body for.
I tore it down, cleaned and rebuilt it.
The paint is boxart inspired, I don't...
