Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica
alright, it's a roller.
still needs some work obviously, but it's gettin' there. the battery box and antenna mount need a peroxide bath. jwscab is sending me some material to make a trans brace, and i have to cut some wing tubes. i already have a mirage ss body from jay that could get trimmed and painted whenever. then it's just a matter of buttoning up the electronics. oh, and i have to swap some hardware around when i get aluminum replacements.

Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica
ok, the cf material showed up today from joe, so i whipped up the trans brace. i'm not 100% sure it's supposed to be cf, but i don't have the greatest pics of this car. so it's just an educated guess going by other "cliff" cars from around the same time frame.
i also dug out the new reedy mod that's been hangin around for this build.

Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica
just trying to make some time for r/c lately.
this motor just showed up in the mail one day. i still don't think i know the whole story behind how it came about.
reggie does.
i have to get them glued and wired up, but this will be the battery pack for it.
and adam (flipwilis11) hooked me up with a very nice novak 1. it doesn't work, but for this car it doesn't matter. just needs some new wires.

Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica
The motor is yours Reg, PM me your address. Just send me a nice looking (can be used) Reedy later. Would like a Sonic but any older Reedy will do!
Mr, DOT or Sonic.

Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica
rewired the esc today. i was gonna install it, but the switch needs to be changed to the second version (the gray one). i was gonna let it go but i know it's wrong, and it's something that can be easily swapped (when i find one).
