Offset truck wheels
Hi,
I was wondering where I could find some offset 2.2" truck wheels. I remember HPI used to make some deep dish/offset wheel, which I can't find anymore, but some of their new offerings seem to have some offset. I also read that the duratrax maximum st wheels have some offset. What else is out there? I am looking for the maximum amount of offset. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Re: Offset truck wheels
a&l monster truck wheels have the most offset they were designed to convert a buggy into a truck and they are super strong. original jrx-t 3 piece wheels have a lot of offset as well. proline monster truck conversion wheels were even wider but the centers sometimes busted out. if you can find them there is the uber rare trinity baja purple chrome wheels my personal favorites

Re: Offset truck wheels
thanks for the suggestions, they seem like they would work, but those wheels look vintage and kind of hard to come by. What other options are there for more current, readily available wheels?

Re: Offset truck wheels
the most current ones would have to be the h.p.i. super star monster truck rims. youre best bet would be ebay but be warned they made 2 styles standard offset and wide offset so make sure you get the right ones. they were universal fit with multiple adapters.

Re: Offset truck wheels
I have some of those Trinity wheels! From memory, a set of RC10 rears, and a set of King Cab fronts.... might have to dig them out and BST them! I love the purple chrome.....wyldbill wrote:a&l monster truck wheels have the most offset they were designed to convert a buggy into a truck and they are super strong. original jrx-t 3 piece wheels have a lot of offset as well. proline monster truck conversion wheels were even wider but the centers sometimes busted out. if you can find them there is the uber rare trinity baja purple chrome wheels my personal favorites

Re: Offset truck wheels
Well, that was pretty crappy..... listed those two pairs of wheels TWICE on eBay..... not one bid.
Guess they're not as rare or wanted as people thought....
Back in the dungeon for them....

Re: Offset truck wheels
you mean like these
they fit great in the rear but i had to make a special wheel nut
the only problem in the front is that i need an axle that is about 3/4 long. is a 10t front axle that long??
oops i labeled the pictures backwards the reartires pic is actually the front

Re: Offset truck wheels
I recall longer axles by a couple companies back in the day. I thought they were all metric for running tamiya wheels tho. Those front wheels look kinda like traxxas. Rears appear to be proline
If anyone needs offset wheels I have a few pairs of Imex wheels for a few different applications from back when you used a buggy arm on a truck. Must have buy/sell/trade access or I could always list them on eBay if nothing else
