as it states...lookin for some answers to my issues. My wife and daughter want to set up the old super nintendo and can't get it to work right. Can hear it plain as day but the graphics background graphics aren't working right. My questions are should I be lookin at the cord connecting to the tv (tried sevaral all with the same result) or be lookin at the 62 pin connector which I have seen in the past to be the trouble with most issues in this console?
Would just ebay the games and be done with it but the daughter and wife like playing these old games and have too many games to just scrap it...
any input would be greatly appreciated

if you are getting sound more than likely the cartridge connector is fine, since the digital information is being processed OK(doesn't matter if it's audio or video, its just different parts of a digital file). My guess would be bad video port or cable. Anything change when you wiggle the wires or connections? Possibly dried up capacitors or something like a cold solder joint.
nothing changes when wiggling the wire/cable assy. It cleaned up a little with we kept installing/ejecting the games. All the games are doing the same thing as that too. Tried 3 different a/v cables...

didn't thumbs just post a link to a super nes / n64 combo thing the other week? tried looking quick but couldn't find it. fairly cheap from what i remember.
cool. Found that thread you were thinkin of with Thumber in the rc pro am topic. That combo thing link is cool too. Cheaper than getting a used one off ebay . Might try a different type cable too but damn...its almost half of that new combo console

I found the link, but I'm trying to figure out pasting with my new Samsung tablet. I''ll figure it out eventually. The fc twin got here in 2 days, but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

thanx for all the guidance so far guys. Think I'll try a $5 cable for now and if it doesn't fix the problem might just end up 'combo-ing' it to save cash and space...
