I am on oxycontin right now but it doesn't help with the throbbing. For some reason my left nut is hurting more than the other

1) Canadacare (Obamacare model) won't pay for them as....2) Canadian Doctors might not get kick backs from drug reps "for their books" like US physicians can.......3) so Canadians man up and use a bag o' frozen peas.

Feeling a bit better today.

Just for some of our canadian friends, I was prescribed oxy and valium. Was instructed to take one oxy and three valium for the actual operation. They used some local anesthetic but that was it. I also had some remaining oxy for the pain after the operation. That is the standard practice for the military docs. I do appreciate the meds, cause it really helps me relax so I can sleep.

I can see why some wouldn't prescribe any meds cause I am sure a good dose of over the counter ibuprofen would be effective in knocking the pain down a bit.

The pain is not too bad, just really uncomfortable.
