vintage Toyota 4x4 body

Post by vwjuice »

Hey guys, I am trying to find an old body that I use to have. I can't remember who made it, but it was modeled after the '89-'94 Toyota extended cab 4x4 truck like the pic below. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh that would have been good info to add.

I had it on my Traxxas Stampede when they first came out. It was a full bodied 1/10 truck. It wasn't a race inspired body, just made to look like the real thing.

I remember that but this one just a regular pickup not a race truck.

I'm pretty sure it was proline or Parma. I know Parma made a standard cab version based off the '84-'88 toyota.

You could try and find an old Nikko body. It was a hard body but in that same year.

I thought about that. I haven't seen anything pop up on ebay anywhere. It's just the old Toyota trucks that I see.

I think I just found the body after all these years of looking. I bid on it days ago when it was listed. It says it's a 1/12 scale, but I remember having it on my Stampede and it fit perfectly. I can't wait to open it up when it gets here.

Well I got the body today and I am ecstatic!! It's the body I have looked for. Here's a few pics.
For anyone interested it's proline #3015 Toyota Racing truck.

I glad you found it. Can't wait to see it painted up. I like the look of that style(used to drive one around)
