I tried to drive a Fantom, back in the day, can't remember what happened there. I think 4wd 1/12th never caught on, so we never developed the class, locally. Probably only put a few packs through one.

I guess a good question to ask is... What doesn't Bob have in his collection? Do you have any 1/4 scale cars, Connelly V8's, pulling trucks or rc motorcycles?

I don't do much 1/8 onroad. and not much for offroad as a whole, some stuff. Cars I raced mostly, RC10, JRX2, Optima, radiant, MRP 2wd and 4wd, converted foxes and Mugen bulldogs. To many makes and models to do them all. I think it would be impossible in todays market to do them all, would be hundreds and hundreds of new cars a year.

I had a bunch of 1/4 scale cars... just to big, and (back then) to slow. Took up to much room. You see glimpses into hard core 1/4 scale collectors storage areas... Doesn't take but 20-30 cars, and you've got a big problem.. pun intended. :)

235mm pan and 1/12th. That's what I dig the most. ;)

In that photo of the 1/12 scale 4WD cars, the middle and right cars are Fantoms, but the one on the left is a Kawada, isn't it? I used to have one of those. Tons of fun on a dusty tennis court.

WOW! (Thats all I got)

You mentioned something about your family selling this stuff off after your gone and I just have to curse at you for that now. Because I will first be broke... Then divorced... Then more broke... So consider yourself "Eff'd off"... Love me! (Kidding)

Actually very amazing stuff you have. I have often wondered if you had stuff left over from all the years or if you had managed to sell it all off after things became discontinued... Now after seeing these photos, I'm guessing that you also have loads of "Future" vintage stuff already in the works, :).

BTW: I know what you mean about the 235 class. I Loved that class!

Even for seasoned members who've seen them already, it's quite an experience to look at these pics, I'm telling you ;)
