RC10 Rear Arms
I am building up a few racers from a "lot" of RC10s that I have been purchasing. As I have been disassembling and cleaning the cars I have been noting the wear for reassembly of the best parts. I came accross this one set of arms that has shorter pins due to less material on the front mounts. All the cars are Gold Pan cars but one did come with a Stealth trans. I hunted around the First 25 years of the RC10 thread and did not see a set of arms like this. Why is this set different? Thanks Mark

Re: RC10 rear arms
The set with the pronounced "x" in the center are the latest version of the white arm, considered hard to find.

Nice - Thanks for this info. I had not paid attention to the X in the center and now looking at the photo its obvious.

I went ahead and put these up in the trade section. Its better to get them to someone that needs them for a restoration on the correct car.

Re: RC10 Rear Arms
Been meaning to post a pic of this white rear arm I got in a lot for some time now. The bottom arm is not made out of the same nylon as the original white arms (top), or even the later white arms with the extra x material. More of a translucent white like RPM white parts but much more rigid like the final black RC10 parts. Unfortunately I've only got the one.

Re: RC10 Rear Arms
I've have had sets of those white arms with the extra X material, and they were made from the same nylon as the original arms...but the one I posted above is definitely made from different stuff.
I'm assuming it was part of a run of glass-filled parts that happened before they went to black parts?
